Ariel and Her Daddy: A Little Mermaid Digital Scrapbooking Freebie

It always makes me cry at the end of the movie when Ariel says goodbye to her father, "I love you Daddy."
It makes me think about our goodbye to Bree 3 years ago from right now.  I know from the timing of her death that she was thinking that exact thing.  She was thinking of her Daddy and how much she loved him.  It wasn't coincidence that she died at the moment that she did.  And honey if you read this, know that she loves you and the night she died was proof of her love for you.

I wanted to make an Ariel and Triton tonight since I was working on Natalie's new kit Seascape and thinking of my daughter and her daddy.  I made them and used them on this page with her kit:

And I'm giving them out as a freebie because love can be stronger than pain.

Hugs,
A Grieving Mommy

PS - Thanks so much to those of you that leave kind comments here on my blog.  It really does help to know that someone cares.

Hey, I'm sorry I don't have the right words to type right now. But I'm thinking of you and wishing that I didn't have a reason to type to you except to tell you that the scrapbook pages you do are always so amazing! But really, I'm thinking of Bree-elle. I'm wondering how you are doing today. I'm wishing she was here, and you were just trying to fit scrapbooking in while attending to three little ones. I'm glad you have your son and husband still here, but grief is hard. Missing is hard. And the anniversaries of an event that a mother really should never have to experience (not even once, but twice!?) are just too much! I am sorry. And again, I apologize that I'm not sure what to say. But just want you to know I'm here. And I wish I had your phone number so I could call you. And we could go to visit their graves or something. Or just go get chocolate. Or just... just never the right things. I'm so sorry. :'(

Just want to say I admire your strength to continue. You have 2 angels at heaven and 1 at earth so you are protected with love. I lost my husband a year ago but I have a 5 year old boy who is my reason to live.
Thanks for all and luck ever.
